Falcon Theatre Announces 2015–16 Season

The roster includes an improvisational musical, satire, comedy and drama.

BURBANK, CALIF.: Falcon Theatre has announced its 2015–16 season, including the return of a holiday favorite along with two musicals, a comedy, and a drama.

The season begins with Impro Theatre‘s Sondheim UnScripted (Aug. 19–Sept. 27), an improvised musical created from audience suggestions and performed in the style of Sondheim. Dan O’Connor and Michele Spears will direct.

Next is Mark St. Germain ‘s Scott and Hem (Oct. 14–Nov. 15), about the friendship and rivalry between literary moguls F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway. Dimitri Toscas will direct.

Next, the Troubadour Theater Company returns to Falcon Theatre with Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Motown (Dec. 2–Jan. 17, 2016). Matt Walker will direct.

Following will be The Complete History of America (abridged) (Feb. 3–March 6, 2016), written by Adam Long, Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, a three-person comedy that deconstructs the entire history of the United States.

The season concludes with Molly Bell’s The Real Housewives of Toluca Lake: The Musical (March 23–April 24, 2016), about the scandalous surprises and bitter betrayals that plague the housewives of the San Fernando Valley. This is coproduction with Roger Bean Productions; Bean will direct.
