The Nord Family Foundation Playwright Fellowship is a year-long program for emerging  and established playwrights from Northeast Ohio. This year’s selected fellows are Eric Coble, Melissa Crum, Caitlin Lewins, and Cassandra West. The playwrights will develop new work through readings, staged readings, and workshop productions. In addition, the playwrights and creators will participate in CPT’s new-work development initiative Catapult.

For the fellowship, Coble will develop his newest play The Family Klaxon. Crum and Lewins will develop Everything is okay (and other helpful lies). And West will develop her folktale-based play, Mira La Mer.

Eric M. C. Gonzalez and Matt Ryals will serve as the 2016-17 Kulas Foundation Theatre Composer Fellows. During the nine-month fellowship, Gonzalez and Ryals will work with producers and directors to compose original music and sound design for CPT’s season productions.
