In addition to the awards, Robins and Morris of Illusion Theater were given an opportunity to select an Outstanding Emerging Professional—they chose Diogo Lopes and Isabel Nelson, the artistic directors of the Minneapolis-based physical theatre ensemble Transatlantic Love Affair. Carl selected playwright Mary Kathryn Nagle to receive the annual Paul Green Foundation Award, given to an emerging talent in the theatre. Both of these awards will also include a $1,000 prize.
