The new-works incubator will support and present musicals, plays, puppetry, and other works in development.
The literature-inspired season is the first under new artistic director Cassie Greer.
Greer, who has served as associate artistic director since 2017, succeeds Scott Palmer in the role.
The lineup will include new works by PearlDamour, Dave Malloy, and Kirsten Greenidge, plus the theatre’s last performances of ‘The Donkey Show.’
The lineup includes work by Suzan-Lori Parks, Maria-Irene Fornes, Clare Barron, and Will Eno, as well as a new musical from Tamarie Cooper.
María Manuela Goyanes’s season will feature ‘What to Send Up When It Goes Down,’ ‘Fairview,’ and more.
On the slate are new works from Harrison David Rivers and Beth Henley.
Hewett will start the position at the New York City organization in May.
The lineup will include a remount of Manhattan Theatre Club’s ‘Jitney’ and world premieres by Anna Ziegler and Justin Huertas.
Nataki Garrett’s first season includes Qui Nguyen’s sequel to ‘Vietgone’ and plays by Dominique Morisseau, Karen Zacarías, Theresa Rebeck, Marcus Gardley, and Sarah B. Mantell.
