In the Time of the Butterflies is a play based on Julia Álvarez’s novel, portraying four sisters resisting Trujillo’s brutal regime in the Dominican Republic. Premiered in 2011, it remains in Repertorio’s rotating productions. Performed in Spanish with English subtitles.
