A co-production with Narçisse Theatre Company, Thistle and Salte is a performance of two one-act plays (Riders to the Sea, In the Shadow of the Glen) by Irish playwright and essayist John Millington Synge. Sometimes described as “poetic realism,” Synge’s work is about the reality of the Ireland that he knew, not a romanticized one.
