Playwrights Realm Names 2023 Fellows, Scratchpad Playwrights

This year’s writers are T.J.L, J.C. Pankratz, Eliana Theologides Rodriguez, Jesús I. Valles, Nimisha Ladva, Malena Pennycook, and Sarah Saltwick.

The festival will feature works from multiple transgender, nonbinary, and Two Spirit artists.

The Houston festival showcases Latinx playwrights and stories.

Valles will attend a new residency program created by playwright Jeremy O. Harris, who also selected Valles’s play ‘Bathhouse.pptx’ for the prize.
