NEW YORK CITY: Time Warner Foundation has announced its next round of theatre grantees, adding nine theatre organizations into the Foundation’s group of sustained partnerships. The grants will go towards diversity and inclusion efforts at the theatres.

The recipients are Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Berkeley, Calif.; Center Theatre Group, Los Angeles; the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Waterford, Conn.; Latino Theater Company, Los Angeles; Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ashland, Ore.; Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Chicago; and the Lark in partnership with the Apothetae in New York City; and Yale Repertory Theatre, New Haven, Conn.

“These organizations represent our most geographically diverse cohort and we are so proud to support the important work they are doing for the theatre field,” said Lisa Garcia Quiroz, president of Time Warner Foundation, in a statement. “These companies have been instrumental in shaping the artistic life of their communities and have contributed to the vibrant artistic ecology in the American theatre.”
