MINNEAPOLIS: Ten Thousand Things Theater Company (TTT) has announced that Stephanie Thompson will join the company as the new managing director this month.
“We are so delighted to welcome Stephanie with her years of experience as an executive director and a physical theatre artist, plus her passion for TTT’s work,” said artistic director Michelle Hensley in a statement. “She is a perfect fit.”
Thompson has served as the executive director of Dell’Arte International in Blue Lake, Calif. for the past four years. She also held the positions of associate school director, resident faculty, and performer at the school.
She co-founded the Blue Lake Education Foundation, the Blue Lake Rising grant program as part of an initiative with ArtPlace, and the Humboldt Arts and Culture Coalition. Prior to her time in Blue Lake, Thompson served on the faculty of the MFA acting program at the University of Missouri in Kansas City.
“I’m inspired by the mission of Ten Thousand Things and its stellar artistic reputation,” said Thompson in a statement. “I’m looking forward to joining the dedicated team who has already brought so much administrative and financial integrity to the organization.”
