The Chicago company slates works by Lynn Nottage, Jaclyn Backhaus, and Margaret Edson, as well as its first commissions.
Her play “Utility” will receive publication and a staged reading at Lincoln Center Theater’s Claire Tow Theater.
The award recognizes emerging playwrights who have not achieved national recognition.
