But still, Mondomyr, I’m waiting for you to show my comment history indicates a tolerance for rape.

More feminism run amok. I’ve heard rumors that NIOH is out to get the particular director that is passive-aggressively mentioned-not-mentioned in this post. Is this a witch hunt? Yes indeed. They tried to get something published in the local papers but the Chicago media gave it a big pass because there is no proof, only accusations and no validity to any of it. How American Theater got suckered into this story is anybody’s guess, but I’ll try: the editing board thought this would make a good story because really, sexual harassment is terrible and it should be addressed, but they sent a reporter who only spoke to a few biased sources and then the said board published this one-sided hack job of an important issue because they were either too lazy or too blinded by political correctness to actually get it right.

This from someone who’s comment history indicates tolerance of rape.

      • Jean

Really? And what comment history is that?

      • Jean

Seven days later, I’m still waiting for your evidence of my comment history. You see how this works? Accusations with nothing to back it up.

The strength of the Reader piece is that it is accusations backed with evidence, specifically eyewitnesses that corroborate the accusations. See how that works? Evidence. It’s one thing to accuse, it’s another to prove. The Reader is not just a smear piece. It’s not just “he-said-she-said.” And because of that, it is very convincing.

Um….riiiight… That’s why I showed it to you… See how that works? Wow.
            You’re quite hostile.

          • Jean

I don’t know if hostile is the word I would use. I do believe there is a huge difference in the reporting in this piece and the reporting in the Reader. Wouldn’t you agree?
