Headlands Announces 2016 Artist-in-Residence Recipients

The Bay Area company will host artists from around the world.

SAUSALITO, CALIF.: Headlands for the Arts has announced the 51 artists and collaborators who will participate in the company’s 2016 artist-in-residence program. The awardees will receive a fully sponsored live-in residency for one of three sessions in the spring, summer, and fall.

“We are delighted to be welcoming this extraordinary group of creative practitioners to Headlands next year,” said executive director Sharon Maidenberg in a statement. “They represent 10 states, 18 countries, and a vibrant diversity of practices. By working on their individual projects and regularly convening as a community over several weeks, we hope the artists will be inspired by one another and enjoy the freedom to conceive and create within our breathtaking setting.”
