Spotlight on Design: AT Live Conversation on ‘Octet’

The complete design team of the musical ‘Octet’ will share their experience shaping and staging the form-breaking musical.

NEW YORK CITY: American Theatre and Signature Theatre Company have announced the final event in their three-part panel series featuring discussions for both theatre practitioners and audiences. “Spotlight on Design: A Casebook on ‘Octet'” will be held at Signature Theatre Company on Saturday, July 13 at 5 p.m.

This final installation will feature a discussion with the entire design team behind Dave Malloy’s Octet, showcasing the creative collaboration involved in bringing this acclaimed a cappella musical to life.

The panel will include scenic designers Amy Rubin and Brittany Vasta, costume designer Brenda Abbandandolo, lighting designer Christopher Bowser, and sound designer Hidenori Nakajo. Editor-in-chief Rob Weinert-Kendt will moderate.
