Miami New Drama Names Nicholas Richberg Managing Director

Richberg has been serving as interim managing director since June.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla.: Miami New Drama has named Nicholas Richberg their new managing director, effective immediately. Richberg has been serving as interim managing director since June of this year.

“I am thrilled to welcome Nicholas to the Miami New Drama family,” said artistic director Michel Hausmann in a statement. “Over the past few months his impact has been transformative, and our future has never looked brighter.”

Richberg is a founding company member of Zoetic Stage in Miami, where he performed and worked as the public relations and social media director and later as managing director. He produced three award-winning seasons at Zoetic and was named a Miami Leader by the Miami Foundation in 2015. Richberg is a graduate of the University of Miami and holds a certificate in nonprofit management from Duke University. He also served on the host committee for the 2019 TCG National Conference.

“As someone born and raised in South Florida, I have witnessed the rise of many theatre companies, and rarely have I been so inspired by a shared vision as I am at Miami New Drama,” Richberg said in a statement. “I welcome the chance to help steer this vibrant company into a new phase of growth, and am extremely optimistic about its potential.”
