The free online workshop, open to non-Scouts, will feature music and choreography from ‘Frozen,’ ‘Aladdin!’ and ‘The Lion King.’

NEW YORK CITY: Girl Scouts of the USA has announced a virtual workshop with Disney, entitled the Disney on Broadway Mega-Mix-Theater-Party. The free workshop is open to the public on July 9 at 4 p.m. ET and will stream on the Girls Scout’s instagram @girlscouts.

The workshop will be led by Lauren Chapman, manager of teaching and learning and resident teaching artist for Disney Theatrical Group in New York City. The workshop will include a movement warm-up with choreography from The Lion King, an acting exercise inspired by the character of Elsa from Frozen, and a lesson on the music and choreography in Aladdin. The workshop will also cover critical elements of these shows, including behind-the-scenes knowledge on set design, costume design, choreography, and singing.
