The Tennessee theatre will present a modern reimagining of ‘Our Town’ by Christopher Oscar Peña.
The season will open with Lorraine Hansberry’s ‘A Raisin in the Sun,’ starring Brandon J. Dirden and Crystal A. Dickinson.
The Milwaukee theatre will also present a new-play festival as part of the season.
There will be four theatre productions in addition to dance, film, and music programming.

The 36th season will feature a Gershwin musical and a Steinbeck classic.
Lauren Yee, Don Nguyen, and Dustin Chinn will develop their plays at American Conservatory Theater.
The programs include a directing fellowship, led by Sam Gold, and writing retreats for playwrights.
The Atlanta theatre will mount a mix of contemporary plays and musicals.
