The literature-inspired season is the first under new artistic director Cassie Greer.
Greer, who has served as associate artistic director since 2017, succeeds Scott Palmer in the role.
The season will feature the first commission for the company’s Problem Play Project, an adaptation of ‘The WInter’s Tale’ by Carlos-Zenen Trujillo.
The company will move into its new permanent home at the Vault Theatre during the season.
The Oregon theatre company will begin construction this fall for its own space.
From traditional adaptations to musicals to improv, the six novels of the Regency-era author seem to make theatrical sense and sensibility.
As they change out managing directors, the theatre plans stage versions of books by Jane Austen and Rona Jaffe, as well as Orson Welles’s take on ‘Moby-Dick.’
Bag&Baggage Productions, About Face, Theatre Aspen, and others undergo changes in their administrative and artistic staffs.
