MTC Announces 6 New Recipients of Sloan Commissions

The selected playwrights have been commissioned to write plays about science.

The playwright is the inaugural winner of the national contest at Barrington Stage Company.

Erin Buckley, Franky D. Gonzalez, Stacey Rose, Charly Evon Simpson, and Juliany Taveras will present new plays.

Playwrights Georgette Kelly, Dianne Nora, Marisela Treviño Orta, and Stacey Rose will join the residency program.

Seven writers will receive support and mentorship for creating new work.
