Offscript: Trinity Rep, Neurodiversity, and the Spectrum Theatre Ensemble

Trinity Rep’s Spectrum Theatre Ensemble, a leader in accessibility programming, is building a canon of new work for neurodiverse performers and audiences.

Offscript is a podcast occasionally produced by the editors of American Theatre.

The October season preview issue of American Theatre is focused on education and engagement programming at theatre companies across the country. In conjunction with that issue, TCG’s Audience (R)Evolution program is rolling out this limited podcast series to further explore the topic. In our last episode we spoke to education and engagement professionals about their work; in this episode, associate editor Allison Considine chronicles her visit to Trinity Repertory Company to attend the Spectrum Theatre Ensemble’s workshop The Importance of Being and a sensory-friendly performance of Ragtime.

Subscribe to Offscript via RSS, iTunes, Google Play, or Stitcher to get notifications about new episodes of the podcast (whenever we post them) as well as the other podcasts in American Theatre‘s podcast network.

This series is produced in collaboration with Theatre Communications Group’s Audience (R)Evolution program, funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
