Managing Director Helene Peterson to Leave Boise Contemporary Theatre

One of the leaders at the Idaho theatre will depart after 13 years, during which time the theatre’s budget doubled.

BOISE, IDAHO: After helping to lead Boise Contemporary Theater for 13 years, managing director Helene Peterson has announced her departure, effective June 30.

The theatre released a statement which, read, in part: “Helene’s tireless dedication, phenomenal organizational skills and kindness will be missed at BCT. We wish Helene every success in her new endeavors.”

Under her leadership, the budget at BCT more than doubled. BCT is currently conducting a national search for a new managing director. The theatre, which specializes in contemporary plays and is led by artistic director Matthew Cameron Clark, will celebrate its 20th season in 2015–16.
