Token Theatre Friends BONUS: Daniel Alexander Jones Is Back in ‘Black Light’

The singer/songwriter talks about his musical ‘Black Light,’ currently running through the end of the year Off-Broadway.

Twice a month on the Token Theatre Friends video series and podcast, theatre critics (and theatre besties) Jose Solís and Diep Tran bring a POC perspective to the performing arts.

This month the Friends have a bonus episode! They’re reposting an interview they did earlier this year with Daniel Alexander Jones (who was the second ever guest on Token Theatre Friends). At the time Daniel’s show Black Light was playing Off-Broadway at Joe’s Pub. Now Black Light is back at the Greenwich House Theatre Off-Broadway through Dec. 31. The show is part cabaret, part healing ritual, as Daniel’s alter ego Jomama Jones sings and advises the audience on how to navigate dark times.

Hear Daniel talk about Black Light below.
