Massimine joined the Salt Lake City company this month.
The lineup will include works by Mark St. Germain, Tarrell Alvin McCraney, and Jackie Sibblies Drury.
Melissa Vartanian-Mikaelian will serve as the company’s managing director, and May Adrales and Laura Braza have also been appointed new roles.
In addition to the new works by Stephen Brown and Andrew Rincón, the 2019-20 slate will include a remount of Deb Margolin’s ‘Imagining Madoff.’
The lineup features a literary classic, a popular novel adaptation, and a regional premiere.
The lineup comprises three directorial debuts, a Shakespeare classic, and a world premiere.
Artists receive cash rewards of $7,000.
Six theatres will use the funding for various community engagement projects focused on youth and multi-generational audiences.
The performer, writer, and educator will be the first to take on the role with the company.
The children’s theatre company will feature plays and musicals set in Korea, New York, Australia, Japan, and the Kingdom of Hawaii.
