NEW YORK CITY: The Creative Collective @ 1441 has announced the opening of a new theatre-focused coworking space at 1441 Broadway. The space is designed to be a practical home for the collaboration needs of theatremakers, producers, general managers, designers, entertainment attorneys, artists, and allied businesseses. It offers private offices, shared workstations, meeting rooms, and flexible, creative-friendly spaces for the business of making theatre, such as day-to-day company operations and meetings.

“A dedicated, theatre-first workspace in Times Square fills a real gap for producers, companies, and freelance creatives who need professional office services and would prefer to be surrounded by industry-aligned colleagues,” said Cody Lassen, one of the founding members. “We built the Collective to make it easier to develop work, run productions, and connect with the many partners needed to bring shows to life.”
Current tenants include ACCESS Broadway, Broadway & Beyond Theatricals, Care4Creatives, Cody Lassen & Associates, Design Contact, Eric S. Goldman, Esq., Emlex Entertainment, Entertainment Law LLC, JW Theatrical, KGM Theatrical, Kokoro Consultants, Martian Entertainment, MTTM Theatrics, Neil Gooding Productions, Rialto Records, and the Harriet Tubman Effect.
Outside of the Collective, 1441 Broadway is also home to established theatre-focused firms SpotCo and the Pekoe Group. Leasing inquiries—including private offices with 24/7 access with two to 12 desks, dedicated desks, and shared coworking spaces, along with a list of tenants—are available on the Collective’s website. The space is managed by Jay Suites, NYC’s leading coworking company.
