The celebration will include performances from the original Broadway and Off-Broadway revival casts of ‘Merrily We Roll Along.’
They will each receive $100,000 in recognition of their work as lyricists; Charlie Sohne is also recognized for his work as a librettist.
The award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters comes with $60,000.
