The 35th summer season at Vassar & New York Stage and Film’s Powerhouse Theater marked the end of an era and the beginning of a new one.
On the slate are new works from Harrison David Rivers and Beth Henley.
New musicals slated for the summer season include one by Jason Robert Brown and Jonathan Marc Sherman, and one by Duncan Sheik, Steven Sater, and Jessie Nelson.
The new works incubator will present readings, workshops, and fully staged productions of new plays and musicals.
