After a career focused on breaking down barriers to access, Gaur is at the helm of an organization uniquely positioned to move that work forward.
The co-founder of Show-Score, Gaur, who has a background in nonprofit arts administration, will succeed Victoria Bailey in August.
Stephen McKinley Henderson will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award, Ntozake Shange will be posthumously inducted onto the Playwright’s Sidewalk, and A.R.T./New York will be recognized for its Body of Work.
Beginning Aug. 4, TDF’s Costume Collection will reopen for in-person and mail-order services, with new safety guidelines and restrictions.
The other winners include TDF’s Accessibility Programs and the late Neil Simon. They will each receive $5,000.
